Twice the Fire 1979

 Peaches & Herb's second album with Freddie Perren at the helm doesn't rate with the spotty 2 Hot!. There's nothing close to "Reunited" to tantalize you, though they try with a remake of Johnny Ace's "I Pledge My Love," the only song here that warrants repeated listens. "Roller Skatin' Mate," which can only be described as bubblegum disco, sucks! Others, like "Howzabout Some Love," and "Getting Down, Gettin' Down" aren't much better. After such a good beginning with Perren, the decline came even faster. This one didn't win them many new fans.
