This talented vocalist with a distinctive, deep sound didn't enjoy as much success as he hoped with this early '90s release. It was nicely produced and well performed, but didn't have the breakout cut that would have elevated him above the urban contemporary ballad pack. Gable does deserve more attention, and might get it if he can ever get the kind of lush, over-the-top songs given Luther Vandross, Keith Washington, or Freddie Jackson.
