Super-tight work from Crown Heights Affair -- a group who've added in a bit of strings to their sound, but still have the same fantastic funky sound as their early work! The blend here is really a cut above so many other disco groups of the time -- as there's a really strong focus on all the individual elements in the group -- so that it never feels like anyone's sleeping during the session, from the rhythms right on up to the horns! The tunes are a bit extended over the group's earlier tunes, but never in a way that's sloppy -- as they really make the most of their space -- and also have really developed a great way of back/forth vocal interplay between the members of the group. Titles include "Come Fly With Me", "The Rock Is Hot", "Dance Lady Dance", "Number One Woman", "Empty Soul Of Mine", and "You Don't Have To Say You Love Me". CD features the unreleased track "Take A Chance" -- plus original single versions of "Dance Lady Dance" and "Come Fly With Me".
