Former session vocalist Gwen Guthrie made some dancefloor noise in the mid-'80s with a string of well-produced albums that usually had a couple of smash songs mixed in with generic disco and dance-pop filler. This album landed Guthrie three moderate R&B successes and even had the bonus of some light reggae elements added by way of the Sly & Robbie production team, who assisted on some cuts.
